STORY UNFOLDING

She saw the old house first, half hidden in the heavy maple branches, as she crested the hill. She turned her eyes to the right and noticed the country store and the people gathered on its porch.  She'd been pedaling for what seemed like hours, actually not quite two, and she was tired and thirsty.  She glanced from the store  back to the house.  It was then she noticed the gravestones in the side yard.
